It is my honor

I had the honor of making a quilt for a WWII Veteran who is 94. His daughter contacted our Quilt Guild hoping someone could make one for her Dad. She sent me pictures of him and I got to meet him in person while I was working on the quilt.

The center of the quilt is a panel and I was able to include pictures of him on the quilt as well as a picture of him from when I met him as part of the label on the back.

We are losing so many of our Veterans from that war. My Dad died before I started quilting, so I wasn't able to make him one. I was happy to do this in his honor.

Backing to quilt is Army insignia's
